TIM EVANS Peacefully on Saturday, August 25, 2002 Tim passed away at home at the age of 73 years. Tim will be sadly missed by his daughters, Carol (Gene), Janet (Ken) and son Mark (Cheryl). Lovingly remembered by his sister Daphne (Denis ) of England and proud grandfather of Glenda, Kristen, Melanie, Vicki, Brittney and Katelyn, and great-grandfather of Spencer, Aidin, Nicholas and Ainsley. Tims love, support and friendship from his extended family, the Dycks will never be forgotten. Tim also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and cousins in England as well as many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his loving wife Anne; sister Phyllis; brother-in-law Howard and both his parents. Throughout Tims life he accomplished much, some of the highlights of these accomplishments are 20 years educating youth at Red River College in the Civil Technologies Department, 34 years of being an IOF Forrester the last two years holding the position of Chief Ranger, his dedication to the IOF was a constant source of amazement and admiration to most who knew him. For many years Tim had his own photo business (Evans Photo) which brought many happy times of weddings and parties. Tim was also an Active and long time Director and past President of the Professional Photographers Association and involved in the Red River Exhibition, where both he and Anne received their 25 year pin of volunteer service. Tim delighted in playing Santa Claus for many years at The Bay and other functions. A celebration of Tims life will be held on Friday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave., Winnipeg with Rev. David Epp-Stobbe officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Chapter, 350 St. Marys Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2.
